Frequently Asked Questions
Once you have successfully completed the course by passing the final exam online, we will email you a course completion certificate (DMV Form DIC 552B). Upon making payment and passing the final exam, we will email your Certificate of Completion. Certificates will be processed and dated the same day as course completion. Certificates will be provided the same day, unless otherwise communicated by the clinic instructor.
Court Submissions: If you need to submit a certificate to the court, please follow that court's specific instructions - ABC does not send certificates to traffic courts on your behalf. We strongly recommend completing the clinic at least one day before your court date to ensure you have the certificate in hand in time. While certificates are typically issued the same day you finish the course, they may not be available until after 6 PM. If the court has provided additional paperwork that requires an instructor's signature, please notify us in advance.
DMV Requirements: If you're completing the clinic to meet a Virginia DMV requirement, please confirm with the DMV whether any additional steps - such as fee payments or other courses - are also required.
The cost of the course is null. You will pay this fee using our secure payment processor. Once we have confirmed your payment receipt, your Certificate of Completion (DIC 552B) will be emailed to you. We accept null.
There are NO special system requirements or downloads necessary to take this online course. However, please make a note of the following:
- You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on your computer to view/print your completion certificate. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is FREE and can be downloaded by going to https://get.adobe.com/reader/
- You will need to have JavaScript enabled on your Internet browser to view some of the features in the course. If you don't know what this means, don't worry!! Most modern browsers (like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) are JavaScript enabled already by default. So unless you have manually disabled JavaScript yourself, you will be fine.
- To begin, return to our home page and click on the "Sign Up" button or on the "Sign Up (New?)" link in our menu section.
- Select your course.
- Fill out the registration form.
- Review the information and click on the "register" button.
- The list of sessions will appear. Click on the "start course" button to begin learning!
No; you can log-in, re-enter, and take the course using any computer with any type of Internet connection.
You can either go to our home page and click the 'Log In' button (under "Returning Student?") or you can click the 'Log In (Returning?)' link in our menu section. Then you will just enter your First Name, Last Name, and Birthday and click the "Login" button to resume the course. Don't worry, our student progress monitoring feature will allow to pick up exactly where you left off.
